Bethany Actually, posted this wonderful seven question meme, on her blog yesterday. Basically, you copy the list of questions below and paste it into your comment. Then fill in the blanks with whatever you want to know, about me. I will answer your questions, as quickly as possible, right behind you. So hopefully, my comments will look like a list of questions followed immediately by answers.
If you’re smarter than me, you’ll read through the questions above you, so that you don’t ask a question that was already answered. (Apparently, BA wants to be Harry Connick, Jr. for a day, but I didn’t read that before I asked again!)
1. What do you think of _____________?
2. When did you last ____________?
3. __________ or ___________ and why?
4. What did you ______________?
5. What’s your favorite ______________?
6. How would you ______________?
7. Who would you most like to ________?
Thanks for playing! Feel free to steal this for your blog. I’d love to ask you some questions, too!

1. What do you think of GAS PRICES?
2. When did you last BUY SOMETHING FABULOUS FOR YOURSELF?
3. COKE or PEPSI and why?
4. What did you DO TODAY?
5. What’s your favorite SONG?
6. How would you NAME A LITTLE BOY?
7. Who would you most like to SEE RIGHT WHEN YOU GET TO HEAVEN?
Brittany, I found your comment in my spam filter. Don’t know why it didn’t go through last night. Sorry about that!
1. I remember when gas was only 79 cents per gallon. I wish that it was still that cheap, because we would be able to afford more trips and more stuff. But I also know that as a nation (and as a family) we have a tendency to waste stuff when it’s cheap. So I console myself with the fact that the huge inflation on gas prices, will certainly help our environment.
2. Does a birth control implant count? Haha. Seriously, when we got our tax refund, I went on a little clothes shopping spree. My favorite purchases were my strapless black dress and two new bathing suits.
3. Definitely Coke. Because it’s the real thing, Baby!
4. Today, I accompanied Hubster on an investigation. He had to get a statement from a witness, and so he went on his day off. (Which means we don’t get paid for it …, but I’m not getting on my soap box.) Anyway, it was really fun to see what he does. He didn’t wear his uniform, but he wore his gun and badge on his hip. So he looked like a TV cop. Afterwards, we went out to lunch and then we took Bri out for icecream.
5. My favorite song … it’s so hard to pick just one! I really love “You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins right now.
6. I like using family names, but Hubster has proven to be very picky in the boy naming department. He didn’t want to use anything “weird” and he didn’t want to use anyone’s name that he knew. Pretty much. Some of my favorites were Reid, Finn, and Benjamin. They all got vetoed.
7. Jesus! And then my Grandma Ginny. And then Arlene Nash.
Thanks for playing Brit!
1. What do you think of people who say being a teacher is easy? (loaded question from another teacher – no
)
2. When did you last take a photo?
3. Sprinkles or nuts and why?
4. What did you do the last 4th of July?
5. What’s your favorite children’s book?
6. How would you spend an ideal weekend?
7. Who would you most like to have over for dinner?
I saw this on BA and thought it was cute, but had no time to play. I just may play my own in a day or two – thank you
1. I’ve never met anyone who thought teaching would be easy. Usually people say that they couldn’t handle being around teenagers all day. But I know that I thought teaching would be easy. So I would totally cut that imaginary person some slack. (And invite her to come speak to my class about her job, wink wink).
2. This afternoon. We had lunch in a cute little touristy downtown area and I took pictures of the weeping willow trees along the street.
3. Sprinkles. Yum. I’ve only recently become a fan of nuts. They’re growing on me slowly but surely.
4. We had friends over for a cookout. We set up the slip n’ slide in the front yard for their boys. Then we all went to watch the fireworks and I tried not to pop the folding chair with my ginormous prego self.
5. Just one. There are so many. The first one that I think of is “Alexander’s Awful, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.”
6.Traveling some place exotic. With a nanny for Bri. And lots of shopping. Paris sounds nice.
7. Another hard question. Probably my best friend who just moved to Texas. Sniff. Or Jane Austen. Or someone famous. Maybe Carrie Underwood. Better yet, all of the above!
Thanks for playing B!

This is fun!
1. What do you think of when you remember the day you found out you were pregnant with Bri?
2. When did you last jump on a trampoline?
3. Excessive amounts of money or just enough to be happy and content and why?
4. What did you wear to your Senior Prom?
5. What’s your favorite childhood song?
6. How would you describe your biggest milestone in your life?
7. Who would you most like to resemble and why?
1. We had been trying to have a baby already, for a month. The first time that I got my period, we were really sad. So the second time, I bought one of those early detection kits. On a Sunday morning, while Hubs was getting ready for church, I checked and it was POSITIVE! It was so much fun to tell him that he was going to be a Daddy. And it was so hard not to spill the beans when we left for church thirty minutes later. We wanted our families to know first.
2.Fifteen years ago. I broke my left elbow because I fell off the trampoline. Daddy was in the process of changing jobs, so no medical insurance. It was a week or two before our family vacation to Washington, DC. We had to use the money to pay for my surgery, and we didn’t get to go. Bummer, dude.
3. I think I could be happy and content with excessive amounts of money.
) Seriously, whatever God gives us sounds good to me.
4. A royal blue gown. It had a bunch of tiny straps in the back that zig zagged down low.
5. Funny you should ask, because I just heard it on the radio yesterday. I loved the “Proud to be an American” song that only comes on at the Fourth of July.
6. Hands down, it was answering the question ‘What do I want to do with my life?’ And I decided that being a doctor was not in that answer.
7. Physically – either Kirsten Dunst or Vivian Leigh. Spiritually – Ruth (from the Bible). As a mom – a mix between my Mama, my MIL and my Marmee.
Thanks for playing Lindabelle!
I couldn’t resist doing this meme! Looked like fun, so here goes
1. What do you think of when you drive by our old high school?
2. When did you last go to a concert?
3. Ranch or blue cheese and why?
4. What did you say when you told your family you were pregnant?
5. What’s your favorite restaurant?
6. How would you describe your favorite place on earth?
7. Who would you most like to work for (dream job) and why?
1. What a fabulous question! I think of a few memories from being in high school. Twirling the flag over by the bus loading dock. Watching my sister’s softball games. Fire drills where we spread out all over the school lawn. Pageants at the civic center. But I also imagine teaching there. Maybe one day …
2. I think it was Caedmon’s Call, on their missionary tour. Been a long time. Maybe two or three years.
3. Ranch. Ranch. Ranch. Perfect on salads. Amazing on chicken nuggets from McD’s. Especially fabulous, on cheese fries with bacon. Yum.
4. I had been in the habit of calling Mama and jokingly telling her that she was going to be a grandmother. Because I like to give her heart attacks. I’m nice like that. So when I called to tell her the truth, she didn’t believe me at first!
5. P.F. Chang’s … yum
6. Another hard question! I have so many favorites. If I have to pin it down to just one place, then it would be wherever Hubs happens to be at any given moment.
7. I would love to teach Anatomy. And I would love to work for a very prestigious high school. But I would also love to have exciting summer adventures to exotic locations and get paid for them.
Thanks for playing Joy!
1. What do you think of _____________?
2. When did you last party like it was 1999?
3. Shorts or Capris and why?
4. What did you eat for dinner last night?
5. What’s your favorite childhood memory?
6. How would you describe yourself in three words?
7. Who would you most like to go to the spa with?
1. On tests I like to use _______’s to see if my kids really know what they’re talking about or if they’re just guessing. Sometimes I get pretty funny answers, though.
2. Probably Dec 31st 1999, in London. Our marching band was playing the next day at the Lord Mayor’s Millenium Day Parade. We had a dance at the hotel on New Year’s Eve and I got sick. Had to go sleep it off upstairs. Missed the ball dropping and everything.
3. I prefer capris, but I have recently started wearing shorts again. And going to the pool again. So at least, I have a tan to show off. Otherwise, definitely capris!
4. Spaghetti. My absolute favorite comfort food. Yum!
5. Hmmm… probably Christmas morning. My parents really knew how to do it up right. I have lots of fabulous memories of walking into the living room to stacks and stacks of presents.
6. Laughing, Loving and Loud (It was really hard to think of this answer!)
7. Anyone who would pay for it! Haha! Seriously, my pregnant friend who’s due in August. Nothing’s better than a massage when you’re incubating.
Thanks for playing Amanda!
1. What do you think of when you think about your dream house ?
2. When did you last stay up all night (not with a baby)?
3. Target or Wal-Mart and why?
4. What did you do for entertainment when you were a child?
5. What’s your favorite TV show?
6. How would you spend a million dollars?
7. Who would you most like to live next door to?
Thanks for playing! Feel free to steal this for your blog. I’d love to ask you some questions, too!
1. My dream house would have a big art studio with lots of windows and a balcony overlooking a yard full of old trees. The kitchen would have a window seat for reading and lots of space.
2. Last night, actually. Hubs and I stayed up watching a marathon of movies. Before that though, it’s probably been a couple of years (if you don’t count the nights with the baby).
3. Both. Because Target has better baby supplies and Wal-Mart has the groceries.
4. I babysat adorable kiddos.
) Seriously, I loved to read books. I was always devouring a novel.
5. I like watching sitcoms like Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond. Anything funny and light hearted.
6. I would pay off debts, and taxes. Save a bunch towards Bri’s college fund. Buy a bigger house. Travel a bit. And try to save the rest. I’d probably end up spending it all within a year!
7. My best friend who just moved to Texas. Sniff.
Thanks for playing Rebecca!
