• ~Psalm 46:4-5~

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.

that’s what he said

(*Warning: The following story contains references to boobs and babies. If this makes you uncomfortable, skip to the next post.)

Hubs and I were standing beside the bed folding laundry, when somehow or another, the subject of having a “buhbee” as Bri likes to say, came up. Seriously, the child repeats the word baby over and over these days. Almost like she’s trying to send us a message. Anyway, I casually mentioned that I hope we have a household full of girls.

Hubs: (groaning) Girls are sooo expensive. And babies are so expensive. Seriously, we can’t afford another one right now.

Me: But babies are so cute and cuddly. Don’t you just want another one?

Hubs: Maybe in a few years.

Me: Well, think about how much bigger my boobs would get. Wouldn’t that make up for it? It would be like getting a boob job!

Hubs: And a baby.

Me: Well, yeah. Maybe I should just go to a plastic surgeon for a boob job.

Hubs: Okay! That would definitely be cheaper.

Me: What?!?!
