A few months ago, I discovered Google Reader. It has been so helpful in keeping up with the various blogs that I read. In fact, a friend of mine fussed at me recently for not telling her about it sooner. It compiles blog posts in an inbox for you, so that you can scroll through and read new posts (just like e-mails). Here’s a screenshot so that you can see what it looks like.
The best part about it is that you don’t have to constantly check on your favorite blogs to see new posts. Instead, you check your Google Reader account and it shows you what’s new. It allows you to stay up to date without wasting lots of clicks on other pages. If you want to leave a comment on the post, the link is provided at the top. Just click and comment and you’re done.
This comes in handy for entering giveaways, and for keeping up with lots of blogs at one time. It’s been super helpful for me!
